Foods Recall helps consumers find and understand publicly available U.S. food recall notices. We organize official records; we do not replace the issuing agency or make individual safety determinations.
Sources we use
Foods Recall synchronizes records from FDA Food Enforcement, USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service recall notices, FDA Recalls, Market Withdrawals & Safety Alerts, and FDA Animal & Veterinary recall materials. Each result identifies its source and provides a link to the relevant official notice when one is available.
How records are presented
- We normalize available official fields—such as product description, code information, quantity, distribution area, and reason for recall—to make records searchable and easier to scan.
- We label unavailable fields rather than filling gaps with assumptions.
- We sort notices by their official publication or report date and reduce obvious duplicate records while retaining source attribution.
- We use stable detail URLs, canonical links, and structured data so each published record can be independently referenced.
Editorial review and authorship
Recall detail pages are published by the Foods Recall Editorial Team. Automated data synchronization may create or refresh a record, but the site’s editorial rules require source attribution, agency-link preservation, field normalization without invention, and prominent safety limitations.
Foods Recall does not accept payment to alter recall rankings, suppress an official notice, or present a commercial product as an editorial recommendation.
Health and safety limits
Food recalls can involve health and safety concerns. Foods Recall does not provide medical, legal, diagnostic, or food-safety advice, and a search match does not establish that a specific item is affected. Visitors should use the official notice for disposal, return, contact, and health guidance.
Updates and corrections
We update records when synchronized official source data changes. If a material discrepancy is identified, our priority is to verify the source record, correct the structured fields, and retain the official source link. The source agency’s notice remains the authoritative record.
